Dr. Farahi studied first at the University of Nevada in Reno, where he was on the Honor Roll and Dean’s List, and then at the University of California at Los Angeles’ Honor Division, where he received his undergraduate degree. He proceeded to work on his medical degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, before completing it at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. 

Dr. Farahi won Outstanding Intern of the Year at Wadsworth VA Medical Center in Los Angeles during his internship, where he completed his residency and fellowship in internal medicine and cardiology respectively. 

He has been an active member in medical societies such as the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, as well as the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular diseases, and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
